This weeks pictures feature varying styles available for daily orders and wedding by designer Michael Stringer.

This contemporary arrangement showcases tulips and cymbidium orchids in a ceramic container with natural rock that adds to the textural element of this design.

Again, cymbidum orchis are featured framed by a natural “trellis” of kiwi vine and Italian ruscus.

Finally, a more traditional arrangement. Perfect for any wedding or event centerpiece featuring clusters of quicksand roses, hydrangea, coxcomb, and wax flower.

In the last few weeks we have really been able to expand our creativity with the beautiful selection of Dutch flowers we are so lucky to be able to design with. We are excited to see what beauties come in for the summer season!

Here are some of our recent favorites:

Designer Justin McGuire created this stunning piece with yellow French tulips, Song of India, and bear grass for the “Tables that Bloom” event earlier this month.

This features the perfect Dutch blue hydrangeas, complimented by purple phalaenopsis orchids.

And finally, a gorgeous centerpiece showcasing succulents, gerbera daisies, Santana roses, and scabiosa pods.

Drop in, cool off, and take home some gorgeous stems to brighten the house as the weather warms up!

It has been a busy couple weeks in the design room! Here are a few pictures of some of our recent events.
The lovely Lyric Opera Ball at Bartle Hall was transformed by tulips in red and pink with silver votive lit globes. Truly stunning.

And most recently, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Black Tie Ball at The Marriott Muehlebach. The ballroom sparkled in white with silver accents. Our arrangements of silver gazing balls with “floating” gladiola blooms on silver wire are featured below.

We are so excited to announce ” A Cooler Way to Buy Flowers”! Starting May 1st, our retail cooler will be stocked with a variety of the most beautiful, best quality flowers from Holland, available to you by the bunch! The fabulous flowers we will be able to bring to you astounds even the designers!

These are pictures from a recent “carnival” themed party we did at the home of Steve Metzler and Brian Williams celebrating The Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s recent production of “Carousel”. We love the fun and whimsy of these arrangements and hope you do too!
